“I’ve always been inspired by the war movies I’ve watched throughout my life. For people that I have never met to risk everything for my freedom and to pay the ultimate sacrifice is humbling. As Jesus said, “there is no greater love than to lay down ones life for a friend.” I decided that my life will never be worth more than others, so if current and former military members are willing to put their lives on the line for me, I want to do the same. That is why I hope to stand in the gap, that every form of freedom will continue to flourish.”
